Log ("the App") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.
01Information we collect
- The App stores the logs, memos, tags and other data you enter locally on your device
- If you use the AI features, the message you type, the logs bundled in the AI project (up to 10: title, date, tags, layer, memo, next action) and the last 20 messages of the chat are sent to the AI service you choose (Anthropic / OpenAI / Google). "Save to log" sends the message you choose, and "AI ideas" sends the log you are editing. Before the first send, the App shows where the data goes and what is sent, and asks for your consent
- The App itself does not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address or location
- To verify in-app purchases (Pro), the purchase management service RevenueCat processes your purchase history and an anonymous user ID created by the App. Your name and email address are not sent
- The App has no server of its own. Your logs and other data are stored on your device; only the AI and purchase information described above leaves it
02How API keys are handled
API keys you enter to use the AI chat features:
Are stored only on your device, in the iOS Keychain
Are never sent to or stored on our servers
Are used only to communicate with the AI provider you choose
The Claude and OpenAI APIs do not use the content of your logs to train AI.
If you use the free tier of the Gemini API, Google's data policy applies. Under Google's terms, the Gemini API is for users 18 and older, and only paid plans may be used in the EEA, UK and Switzerland.

03How information is used
- To provide the App's features (saving and searching logs, AI integration)
- To improve the App and fix bugs
- To manage purchases (payments are processed by the App Store; RevenueCat is used to check purchase status)
04Sharing with third parties
We do not share your data with third parties, except in the following cases:
- When you use the AI features: the data described above is sent to the AI service you choose (the privacy policy of Anthropic / OpenAI / Google applies). You can withdraw your consent at any time in the App's AI settings
- To verify in-app purchases: your purchase history and an anonymous user ID are sent to RevenueCat, Inc. (RevenueCat's privacy policy applies)
- When disclosure is required by law
05Storage and deletion
- Your logs and other data are stored locally on your device and are included in device backups such as iCloud
- Uninstalling the App deletes your logs and other app data. API keys are kept in the iOS Keychain and may remain after uninstalling; to remove them, clear them in AI settings before uninstalling
- If you want your data deleted, clear your API keys in AI settings, then uninstall the App
06Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
07Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may change without notice. We will let you know in the App about any significant changes. Please check the last updated date from time to time.
